Where is Everybody?
March 25th 2004, 00:40 CET by Charles

So, as you've probably all noticed, the site has been deader than Hulka's week old dirty socks lately.  What gives?  Did you all go out and have babies?  Did you all follow Jibble to the altar to get married?  Are you stuck in a third world country with no net connection?  Are you cheating on planetcrap?

Think of this a roll call.  Where are you, and what are you up to?  Come back to us!  The many can give you comfort.

(Note:  Voting yes for this topic will bump the monster topic off the bottom of the front page.  'sup DKI)

I haven't been anywhere, which is why I wrote the topic.  You dirty motherfuckers have been absent, thus removing most of my entertainment during the day.

This topic is like a confession to Internet addiction, of which I would wager, many of the regular posters here* suffer from.

re: XNA

I'm not knowledgeable enough about such things to make an honest opinion, and I guess IGN links are not popular 'round these parts.  But there is a fairly long interview on IGN PC today about XNA.

I'm here probably about as often as I've always been, I just don't have the urge to post much. Most of the discussions don't really interest me these days. They're either topic that I have little personal interest in or they're just the same thing over and over. I've said my piece on those topics and don't feel the need to reiterate.

PS. Save anywhere sucks.

No.

"Whether he likes it or not, a man's character is stripped bare at the poker table; if the other players read him better than he does, he has only himself to blame. Unless he is both able and prepared to see himself as others do, flaws and all, he will be a loser in cards, as in life."

It's a very exciting time on MTGO these days! Ravager is up to 18 from 9, and Skullclamps still sell at 5 each. The lack of DDD drafts has thrown the economy into a total whirlwind. I love it.

Also, UT4. I still read the posts here, in the hopes that some discussion will occur. But I'd much rather be spending $1 to make $4, or driving a Leviathan.

I read somewhere that mathematicians peak incredibly young, and after about 24 there's very little chance of them coiming up with anything new.

Is anyone else really tired of all the 'sup stuff? I know I am, but it seems the regulars here are too bored to actually create interesting conversation and would rather engage in a witless dialog with equally boring trolls. Result: all noise, no signal. Gee, and the traffic has really dropped off. Shocker.

I can't wait for the cutting remark referencing my homosexuality now. Edgy! Exciting!

No. BORING.
