HELP!
I have a D drive that has a CRC error and Windows NT won't read it (It's an NTSF partition).  I can used Partition Magic and see the drive, and I was wondering why WIndows 2000 won't read it, or if anyone here knew of any proggie/utils that would kick Win2K in the ass and make it recognize the drive and/or remove the offending CRC error?

Yup, it's stuff like this that makes me aprove everything Bin Laden and Al Queda are doing.

Look closely at their images on these pages; they are the faces of a stricken nation of whom 42 per cent are children. When Blair speaks about the "moral case" for sending hundreds of missiles against this nation of so many children, as well as new types of cluster bombs and bunker bombs and microwave bombs, and shells tipped with pure uranium, a form of nuclear weapon, the images of the two sisters provide an eloquent commentary on the Prime Minister's Christian "morality".

Remember the words of President Clinton's then representative at the United Nations, Madeleine Albright, when she was asked if the price of 500,000 Iraqi children was a price worth paying for the embargo. "We think the price is worth it," she said.

And remember, the writer does not make this stuff up, this can be verified.

AND when you next hear Bush or Blair or Straw or Hoon talk about "the tyrant who gassed his own people", remember those American officials and British ministers who competed with each other to excuse and effectively reward Saddam Hussein for gassing 5,000 Kurds in the town of Halabja.

Yep, the truth hurts.

#28 My experience is that projection TV's have really shitty image quality, and I mean SHITTY. Apart from the fact that the image is blurry sometimes, you also get to see all those little points the image is made up of. Now I don't know if there are projection TV's with decent image quality, but from what I've seen it sucks. You then also ave to sit really far away to be able to look at the screen. If you have $, go plasma.

The transcript used for form the bulk of the article. The impression I get from that transcript is of a weapons program being ran so it can be started and stop as international pressure dictates not the nonexistent program the mirror article makes out.

Warren--

Get a rear-projection widescreen TV. They're pretty affordable now and your DVDs will look absolutely AWESOME. You can play your game consoles as well. All of the major manufacturers have several models. I recommend Toshiba, Sony or Pioneer.

Xero mentioned DLP, but the technology is still a little new (and expensive) to be considering yet.

Plasma has a high burnout rate though - they are not the most durable TV's.

HDTV's though overcome many of the issues of traditional RPTV's and have very nice image quality, thank you very much.  Fit the TV to the space though - don't get the 76 inch wide screen if you can't even get it into the house.

Best brands are Panasonic, Pioneer, Sony, and Mitsubishi.  Avoid Toshibia's - while they DO make a good TV, no lie, they also have a very high fault rate compared to the others. I worked a contract for a few weeks at the headquarters of Best Buy, and they showed me the return numbers on Toshibias - just terrible. Too bad too, because the tech is good; the quality just is apparently lacking.

Note, this does not mean you will always have a bad Toshiba, so don't fucking tell me about your problem free TV, I do not now nor will I ever actually give a fuck. Just sharing what I know.

I believe I can fly......urk.
