Hold onto your mouse, I've discovered a Time Machine!
April 4th 2002, 19:28 CEST by Paul A. Bullman

I've been on the net for some time. Eight years is my best guess. How about yourself?

Let's boldy go where many of us have been before.

Dude, Duke's 3d!
Quake, I don't live in LA?
No thanks, I don't like the taste of Yahoo.
Andy is a kind fellow.
Christmas with Blue!
Planes Crashed then?

Of course you can plug in about any major site. It's entertainment. Nudity for the nostalgic.

Personally, I still enjoy John Carmacks .plan update about OpenGL vs. Direct 3D.
I started porting glquake to Direct-3D IM with the intent of learning the api and doing a fair comparison.
Well, I have learned enough about it. I'm not going to finish the port. I have better things to do with my time.

dude this topic is kinda stupid. no personal offense, but what's the point of it? showing off that you found webarchive.org? I already found it a long time ago doing a google search on something. (btw google has something similar to this: the pages in cache.).

oh and I've been on the net for about 3 years. that was what you wanted to know, right?

For Morn: Unreal.org's last page.  Unfortunately all they have prior to that is what is apparently the navigation bar.  Oh well, at least it has our names on it.

Has there ever been a point to most planetcrap topics? I found archive.org to be an interesting search through how the net has changed over the past 6 years.

Well obviously it had some merit to some people, as it passed.  Or morn pushed it through.

I like it.  Now if more people would go through and dig up some more goofy-lookin' stuff on the archive, it would be even neater.

Too bad all the links on the archived pages refer to their realworld counterparts. Like the NYT one, it still expects registration :)

Greg: Depends.  If the other pages were also archived around the same time, it changes the links to follow it under the web.archive.org domain name.

I like MS' site design.  On top of the pretty blue, its got a nice layout.  Not nearly as blue as my company's site, however.  Markedly far better than its previous iterations.

or has Mustaines ego gotten out of hand (again)? since hes replaced the band several times over with the exception of Dave Ellefson (bass) multiple times (not 100% sure on the bassist either).
