Roll-Call
August 22nd 2005, 21:24 CEST by Marsh Davies

Us Crappers don't play enough games with each other. Even when we do it's only for about a week after the release of a game and then all interest dies. There are two reasons for this:

1. You're all wankers.

2. There's no comprehensive and easily located list of all our online aliases and the games we use them in.

And so...

If you would be so kind. For myself:

Xbox Live name: Quadraspazzer (playing Halo 2 and Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory)
Steam name: MarshDavies (though in-game I go by the name of AnOrdinaryPig)
Guildwars aliases: Ordin Eripygg

Please be my friend... SO LONELY...

I don't really play any oneline games, aside from CoH.  So..I've got nothing.  Unless you play CoH.

Hugin-

Courtesy require that you post your global handle in COH or at least one of your heroes for someone who is playing to find you and stalk you.

Or you can completely ignore the thread, your choice, choose wisely.

Xbox live name: SqueakyFoo (currently playing: ...)
Steam Name (well, lookie that, I don't even have it installed): SqueakyFoo (or ingame as Squeaky/SqueakyFoo/SqueakyNinja)
Guild Wars aliases: No idea.
WoW: Adrianna (human mage) on Greymane; Grimn (orc warlock) on Perenolde; Brahmin (Tauren Shaman) on Firetree.

I used to go by just plain ole Squeaky in most online games, but I've since changed it to SqueakyNinja and then to SqueakyFoo. The latter two are more commonly used by me (with the last one being the most).

City of Heroes: Captain Finland on the Guardian Server (lots of others, but that's my main).  Global handle: Perky Mchappy

Planetside: Chunkstyle on whichever the east coast server is

Game Developers: Don't forget the zombie monkeys.

Shado Spark was my global on COH
Wyst main on WOW-earthen ring
I just can't bring myself to play guild wars anymore, never had a solid charecter there.

I have no idea what my steam name is , I have it installed but I forgot what I put.

EQ2: Don't play it.
Guild Wars: Don't play it.
WoW: Don't play it.
CoH: Don't play it.
Xbox Live: Don't use it.

Jot these down and look for me the next time you're online.

I use Dumdeedum for all online games I'm in.  Although sadly I haven't been playing many of late, I fire up Counter-Strike or UT2004, play for about ten minutes and then just sorta lose interest.  I really need something new to get my teeth into.

I only ever played a few months of Q3 and ET when my 'broadband' at home was shiny and new. It was kinda nice but got pretty frustrating after a while (mostly due to serious shortage in the m4d sk1llz department).

Catch me on when the next HL2 expansion pack ships.

There was a trailer for that released not that long ago, I'd link it but it wasn't all that impressive if you've already played HL2.  Basically a shot of Alyx and Dog digging you out of some rubble, some clips of those tall thin guys and G-Man waffling about something.  Still gonna play it of course, and I may even check out those Sin episode thingies.

My google fu is failing me so maybe someone here can help me.  I'm looking for ergonomics info about how high my seat should be, how long my seat pan should be, and how high my desk should be for someone 6'7".  I've got some damage to my knee, and part of it is that most chairs are not made for the freakishly gigantic like me.  I've found lots of info on the net about what features to adjust, but nothing concrete about what matches given your personal height etc... like a conversion chart.  My employer is willing to get me a new chair and raise my desk, I just want to know what specifications I should give.

It should be noted that I have a Northwood P4, so since SSE3 isn't supported I can't run any of the Rosetta/Altivec stuff - so LP might be better able to fill you in on the rest.

Not very Christian of the Robertson. This is the same asshole who prayed for God to have one of the "liberal" activist judges on the US Supreme Court to die in order for Bush Jr to nominate a Christian justice.

All I've done is prepared to do it, got the files, got the stuff, got my laptop ready. Just need the damn time, which should be friday when I'm off from work.
